    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg-Oncology position with required ONC certification and a NC or compact RN license.

    Responsibilities

    • Position is on the 9K Oncology/Women's unit in a hospital setting
    • Day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
    • Patient population includes oncology and women's health patients
    • 13 week contract assignment
    • Provide care for oncology and women's health patients on a dedicated unit
    • Documentation and copies of certifications must be provided for job consideration
    • Only candidates with a complete profile will be considered

    Requirements

    • Active NC or compact RN license
    • ONC certification required for all RNs working in Oncology
    • AHA or ARC BLS certification required, and must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
    • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in oncology nursing
    • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
    • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
    • U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
    • Professional reference requirements: one for most states, two for FL and MO
