    Responsibilities

    • Keeping the waste water discharge from Johanna Foods Inc. within required permit levels.
    • Working safely and independently.
    • Communicating technical issues verbally and in writing.
    • Training off-site or online to become certified as an N-Level Wastewater Treatment Operator.
    • Responsible for operating and maintaining all industrial waste water, bio-solid processing, and dewatering equipment required to control the flow and quality of waste water.
    • Conducting lab tests for water and optimal chemical application.
    • General WWT Plant housekeeping
    • Keeping equipment and conveyors in optimal running condition.
    • Maintaining logs of various operations within the WWT Plant.
    • Reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Working independently with a team-oriented attitude and approach.

    Qualifications

    • Willingness to be trained in water treatment operations and become certified as an N-Level Wastewater Treatment Operator.
    • High school diploma is required.
    • Weekend work is required.
    • Proficiency in basic math.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Able to work independently with a team-oriented attitude and approach.
