    About this role:

    Wells Fargo's Product Transformation is an enterprise-wide end-to-end business transformation approach, which leverages and adheres to Wells Fargo Agile practices as part of our full lifecycle product management process. As Wells Fargo Commercial Banking shifts from project-based episodic delivery to a customer and product-centric model, Commercial Banking plans to adopt a 4-tier scaled product model and are currently seeking experienced, authentic, and motived Product Transformation Coaches who have experience and knowledge in moving from a project to product model to help us advance and scale our product transformation journey. As a member of the Commercial Banking Product Enablement Office, you will work in collaborative partnership with a cross functional team of transformation coaches, transformation leads, and product leaders to help our organization grow in both organizational agility and product competencies.

    In this role, you will:

  • Build relationships and act as an advisor to senior leadership and teams to guide and influence transformational change for highly complex business needs
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers to translate Agile and product theory into practical and tangible actions which upskill people, and help evolve how teams work together
  • Coach for discovery of products and continuous delivery of customer centric work, including creation of product roadmaps, development of product area backlogs, and iterative application development using modern engineering practices
  • Foster maturation of Agile behaviors and delivery concepts across all levels of staff, and coach leaders to consider readiness, complexity, pragmatic strategies, and the structure required to support software and enable transformation success
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex challenges by asking open, analytical questions to help rethink, change and coordinate the way work is structured
  • Create, gain buy-in for, and implement proactive coaching plans that leverage observations and maturity assessments to evolve the skills of team members, engineering managers, and product managers toward higher levels of maturity
  • Actively participate in forums and communities of practice to provide strategic thought leadership and guidance on proven approaches for resolving impediments to accelerate delivery
  • Guide product managers and product owners on the beneficial use of metrics for continuous improvements and data-inspired decisions
  • Provide vision, direction and mentoring for peer coaches, Scrum Masters, and others, to aid growth and improvement
  • Help leaders and knowledge workers see broader perspectives, and shift mindset to adopt new skills associated with self-governing teams.
  • Foster collaborative partnerships with peers, partners, and knowledge workers to grow and evolve our product competencies and agile maturity.
  • Leverage and combine different industry standard scaling concepts to specific business problems that best supports scaled Agile values and principlesRequired Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Agile (Coaching, Scrum or product owner) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Prior experience with project to product transformations
  • Experience with coaching product teams in the creation of story maps, product vision boards, product strategy, Objective and Key Results (OKRs), product roadmaps
  • Demonstrated understanding and practical experience with JIRA
  • Experience leading discussions with individuals at varying levels of the organization that result in a shared understanding and consensus on a path forward
  • Works with all levels in the organization to teach and coach the product management principles and practicesDesired Qualifications:

  • Creating feedback loops between product teams and customers to support product refinement
  • Ability to develop, deliver and mentor effective, well-articulated, written, and oral communications (e.g., emails, presentation materials) applying appropriate level of content/ detail dependent upon audience and intent.
