About Team

Site Reliability Engineering(SRE) at TikTok combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, and fault-tolerant systems.

In our team, you'll have the opportunity to manage the complex challenges of scale, while using expertise in coding, algorithms, complexity analysis, and large-scale system design.

As an Engineer Leader on the SRE team, you will:

• Leads efforts to empower TikTok backend infrastructure and corresponding toolchains with high reliability
• Leads efforts to deep dive TikTok business scenarios to solve development painpoints, provide optimal architecture and solutions from the perspective of reliability
• Leads the SRE team to build tools and platforms to improve the efficiency of maintenance work

Qualifications

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 5~7+ years of experience
• Experience programming in one of the languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, and Rust,etc
• Familiar with Unix/Linux system internals, networking, and distributed systems
• Preferred experience in designing and analyzing large-scale distributed systems
• Preferred strong skills in problem solving and communication
