    Dura-Line Engineering Maintenance Manager

    Dura-Line, an Orbia Business, is seeking an exceptional Engineering & Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team at our Gainesville, Texas manufacturing site. As a seasoned leader with 5-8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, maintenance management, and project management, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and prioritizing critical issues and opportunities to drive long-term success.

    Responsibilities:

  • Technical Process Improvements: Initiate and implement technical process improvements, proactively preventing and resolving manufacturing issues affecting safety, equipment efficiency, reliability, and product quality.
  • Asset Maintenance: Manage the local capital expenditure (CAPEX) program and develop a robust asset maintenance plan encompassing preventative, predictive, and autonomous care processes to support business continuity and development.
  • Budget Oversight: Participate in the annual budget process, ensuring CAPEX projects adhere to best practices—from gathering bids/prices and assessing suppliers to coordinating contractors, managing budgets, overseeing installations, testing, documentation, and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Maintenance Planning: Create Preventative Maintenance plans and LOTO procedures, supporting the commissioning of new equipment. Assist in the implementation of Predictive Maintenance programs to reduce downtime and unexpected repair costs.
  • Requirements:

  • Education: This positions requires a Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering.
  • Leadership Skills: Empower and collaborate with the team to develop key programs, influence peers, and execute best practices. Be a "hands-on," proactive, subject matter expert providing technical support to production, maintenance staff, and technical personnel.
  • Technical Proficiency: Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/SAP is a plus. Solid user of Office 365 tools, SharePoint, AutoCAD 2D, and Solid Works.
  • Leadership Style: Demonstrate a 'boots on the floor' mentality, strong project management, and documentation skills. Foster a continuous improvement mindset and culture as a servant leader.
  • Business Acumen: Possess strong business acumen, experience in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement/5S, and familiarity with PFMEA project teams (lean certifications are a plus). Experience in managing annual budgeting processes and capital projects of varied sizes and scopes.
