Job summary
The Site Operations Supervisor will oversee the process and success of assigned operational maintenance work while utilizing vast technical skills and experience to perform advanced troubleshooting and repair activities.Responsibilities include leading technical teams by overseeing their execution of daily maintenance and repair work plans to the expected performance standard, safety, and schedule. The supervisor will also ensure effective communications between field technicians and the operations manager,
assist with performance of QC assessments of work by technical team serve as a lead assist field technicians with HV operations execute scheduled & unscheduled maintenance of generating assets including BOP SCADA communications successfully perform switching at substations substation inspections
and maintenance activities support operations manager with planning allocation available resources reevaluation prioritization maximize facility output minimizing costs conduct inventory management research spare parts specialty tools needs assist creating reviewing approving reports Work Requests performing TECO transactions drive continuous improvement performance campaigns projects improve operational KPIs act backup responsibility Operations Manager other duties assigned Supervision others Technical oversight frontline staff supporting overseeing external contractors Working Conditions office environment computers frequent use Microsoft software phones general equipment outside office performing troubleshooting repairs guiding personnel auditing safety quality operational activities accommodating training needs assisting Site Manager overseeing contractor vendor activities physical demands representative functions job Reasonable accommodations may made individuals disabilities enable essential functions While performing duties this job employee regularly required stand climb hands fingers handle feel reach hands arms frequently talk listen employee regularly required lift move pounds frequently lift move pounds able work heights climbing towers entering nacelles hubs extreme heights wind turbine generators only operate company vehicles site public roads highways current driver license good DMV printout demonstrate good habits attendance maintaining neat orderly environment
