    Fauske & Associates, LLC (FAI) is a Westinghouse Electric Company affiliated company located in Burr Ridge, Illinois, approximately 20 miles southwest of downtown Chicago.

    The company was founded in 1980 and has brought a high tech capability to the understanding of issues related to both nuclear reactor safety and chemical reactor safety.

    Your Day-to-Day:* As an entry level engineer, you will perform and support state-of-the-art calculations and validation experiments as required under the mentorship of your manager or more senior engineers with a focus on maintaining and improving safety within the nuclear industry.

    Other duties and responsibilities listed below and may be assigned on an as-needed basis by your manager.
    • Perform engineering calculations related to nuclear safety, fluid flow, probability risk assessment, severe accident analysis, equipment qualification, heat and mass transfer, and other duties as assigned by manager
    • Prepare appropriate documentation supporting evaluations and analyses
    • Verify routine design evaluations and analyses performed by others, as qualified.
    • Interface on a limited basis with customers, vendors, and other internal functional groups on engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments
    • Develop skills necessary to assume more independent assignments and support the business strategic initiatives
    • Identify and recommend improvements in processes on continuing basis and assist in implementation as well as identify and assist in the development of new business opportunities.
    • Plan and schedule own work to meet assignment requirements within schedule and budgetary requirements

    Who You Are:

    As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical)* 0 - 2 year of experiece.
