    The Merchandise Presentation Planner owns the planogram process for assigned category management teams. Accountable for the accurate and efficient development, planning, and execution of merchandise presentation standards. Manages space utilization, inventory optimization, and operational efficiencies through the planogram process. Contributes to the strategic direction through expertise in space allocation, minimum presentation quantities, and merchandise presentation. Responsible for determining the flow and display of merchandise to presentation standards and optimal inventory productivity. Thorough understanding of the financial acumen of retail concepts that drive forecasting and replenishment and the impact to space planning process and procedure. Analyzes space to sales performance using space planning tools and reporting. Provides recommendations to influence buying, allocations decisions with Merchant and Planning teams. Creates clear, concise and accurate merchandising direction for store implementation. Develop and improve merchandise presentation processes to maximize profitability and efficiencies. Supports cross-functional projects that advance company goals and objectives. Apply change management skill sets to best serve shifting and changing priorities. Use candid and fact-based communication skills to influence others in pursuit of department initiatives. Lead by example, to coach and train peers on best practices. Manages assigned category management teams through the creation, strategy and communication of planograms and associated processes and procedures, aligned to the merchandise life cycle and master calendars.

    **PRINCIPAL DUTIES**

    Accountable for all planograms within the buyers area of responsibility and ensuring the buyers vision is executed across all areas by:

    Developing and presenting panel flow recommendations that align with the strategic direction of the shop

    Optimizing the space productivity (including but not limited to sales and margin performance) reporting of the planogram, working with the buyers and/or vendors

    Completing physical sets for each layout per timeline requirements

    Creating communication for all sizes, per timeline requirements

    Tracking and following up on all processes to ensure timelines are met

    Compiling all information and materials for merchandising communication to the stores and field management

    Owning fixture and marketing recommendations

    Partnering cross functionally with space planning analyst, buyers, inventory management, store operations, logistics, inventory management, in store marketing and store planning while executing strategy for shop

    Expected to initiate and work cross-functionally on projects that advance the goals and objectives of the company strategy, including process improvement, training, coaching, development, efficiencies, standards, and inter-department communication. Acts as representative of the department . Leads on-boarding of new hires.

    Reviews space productivity reporting and providing recommendations to the CMT regarding product mix, planogram breakouts and assortment consolidations, and vendor/article rationalization based on available space.

    **EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE**

    Education Minimum: 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree (Major Merchandising, Finance, Business, Marketing, Statistics, Communication), or equivalent work experience.

    Experience Minimum: 3-5 Years Retail experience in merchandising, space planning, inventory management or communication.

    Experience Preferred: 6 years of retail experience in merchandising, space planning, inventory management or communication, supervisory experience.
