- Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program preferred but will also consider an associate degree as well.
- Current Registered Nurse License, New Mexico
- Minimum 1-2 years prior nursing experience (direct patient care), and prior Charge experience is preferred.

- Responsible for the daily oversight of exceptional clinic operations
- Coordinates with the Practice Manager to monitor patient care, quality control, process improvement, and regulations
- Coordinates with the Practice Manager to work wit vendors
- Participates in clinic staffing
- Coordinates with the Practice Manager to monitor the clinic expenses
- Assesses, triages, plans, directs, provides, evaluates, and delegates patient care for a designated shift or clinic ensuring execution of physician orders and in accordance with company policy and procedures
- Works with the Practice Manager to evaluate and monitor clinic activities to ensure quality patient care, good staff relations and efficiency of service
- Performs phlebotomy and other lab tests, monitors blood pressure, blood sugar, EKG and other vital measurements as ordered by the physician
- Assists physician with procedures, dressing changes, and administering medications
- Coordinates with patients regarding follow up test results, medication refills, referrals, and insurance issues
- Administers allergy and other injections as ordered by patient's personal physician or allergist
- Responds to a variety of medical emergencies
- Provides patient health and wellness education.
- Maintains a functional clinic; overseeing supplies inventory; equipment calibrations, checks, or maintenance; ensures clinic is clean and orderly, coordinates infection control and other safety programs such as blood borne pathogen and other regulatory requirements
- Works with the Practice Manager to orient new staff and assure training and education needs are met
- Ensures documentation and coding in the patient electronic medical records are accurate and complete and reviews to ensure that all nursing notes are locked
- Reviews and approves timecards biweekly, approves PTO requests for the clinic team members, and coordinates staffing with central scheduler.
- Supervises clinic staff on a daily basis and collaborates with the Director of Nursing to complete annual performance appraisals for all clinic staff members
- Functions independently under standing orders when needed
- Serves as a steward for On-Site philosophy and resources
- Works through the Practice Manager and Account Manager to communicate, coordinate, and promote clinic services with client company's Human Resources and leadership team
- Performs necessary administrative responsibilities, to include, but not be limited to, answering phone calls and voicemails, scheduling appointments, scanning, and faxing patient documents, to ensure optimal clinic workflow
- Attendance is an essential job function
- Registered Nurse License in the state where services are provided

We are actively seeking a fulltime Charge Nurse (RN) for our clinic located in Albuquerque, NM. This out-patient primary care clinic cares for a pediatric and adult patient population. Must be comfortable drawing blood and prior EMR experience is required. Clinic hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. NO WEEKENDS, NO NIGHTS, NO LATE HOURS, NO 12-HOUR SHIFTS.This clinic will also be implementing a Mobile Unit, so willingness to obtain a New Mexico Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is highly desired.
