Job summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Director, the Rehabilitation Technician will be responsible for patient care support guidance execute plans of care under guidance PT/OT providers proper set up adjustment exercise equipment assist with set up delivery modalities utilize appropriate educational techniques monitor patient safety response exercise intensity discuss patient performance with PT/OT provider clinic flow monitor patient arrivals department start patients on time for scheduled appointmentskeep patients apprised of any clinician delays maintain cleanliness clinic including waiting areas exam rooms all equipment order all supplies to keep clinic stocked under direction from Manager front end tasks perform necessary front-end tasks check-in co-payfinancial responsibility collection answering phones scheduling future appointments communicate via chat with PT/OT Chiropractic referral team regarding patient insurance benefits schedule management clinicians i.e
- CPR certification required offered through Duly Health and Care
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge common medical terminology abbreviations
- Understand principles as well contraindicationsprecautions in use therapy modalities can identify proper patient set-up each piece equipment ability adjust identify planes movement demonstrate proper exercise positioning teamoriented attention detail followthrough problem solving lateral thinking reasoning skills communicationskills.
