    SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Air Force, Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defense Force
    Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients' challenges
    Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients' success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security
    SPA's Air Force and Army Programs Group provides aviation-focused analysis and program management for life-cycle systems engineering and logistics support, rapid capabilities development and fielding, cyber warfare operations, nuclear C3, and integrated air and missile defense planning
    We provide advanced studies, wargame development, and analysis to support materiel operations, supply strategies, and fleet readiness
    SPA has an immediate need for a Senior Specialty Test Manager located at WPAFB in Dayton, OH
    #MC Responsibilities Accomplish a full range of new and ongoing acquisition test management tasks to include: managing and executing all program test activities, including the planning, execution, and reporting of test projects, on behalf of the program office
    Updating and managing all program office test documentation, including test plans, test priorities, test schedules, test memorandums, and test reports
    Assisting in coordinating test planning working groups, logistical requirements, program office delegations, technical interchanges, and day-to-day interactions between the program office and supporting test, intelligence, and technology organizations
    Applying systems engineering, test engineering and test operations expertise to projects and program challenges, and advising project leads and project engineers on all matters of test engineering as it applies to highly technical program office efforts
    Supporting the Program Director at executive levels within the government and other contractor organizations, including major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other program evaluations and major milestone events
    Managing interactions and cultivating relationships between the program office, supporting government offices, other contractors, and higher headquarters mid to upper level staff
    Apply experience and capability to support assigned program test management tasks and lead support personnel in these tasks

    Qualifications Required:

    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant DoD acquisition experience and a Master's degree, or a minimum of 15 years of relevant DoD acquisition experience and a Bachelor's degree, or a minimum of 25 years of relevant DoD acquisition experience.
    • Test leadership experience on one or more ACAT I and/or ACAT II acquisition programs; e xperience in a SAP and/or SCI environment.
    • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
    • Specialty Test knowledge and experience for various types of testing not normally associated with flight testing for ACAT I, ACAT II, or equivalent aircraft development programs.
    • Knowledge and experience with planning, executing, and reporting.
    • 5 years of experience in developing and/or executing activities associated with at least one of these focus areas: Full-scale static, Wind tunnel, Sled, Environmental/climatic, High-altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP), Live fire test and evaluation activities.
    • Degree in electrical, aerospace, mechanical or other relevant engineering degree

    Desired:

    • Graduate of a formal Test Pilot School.
