    As JVS SoCal continues to grow, we continue to look for qualified, dedicated staff to join us and play a role in transforming lives and bettering our communities throughout SoCalDESCRIPTIONThe primary responsibility of the ImagingWorks Clinical Coordinator is to engage with clinical site managers and preceptors to provide excellent clinical experiences to students for DEXA, MR Tech Aide, and PSR training in diagnostic imaging environments, reinforcing industry rules, regulations, and intensive customer service in a professional healthcare environment.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAdjust and maintain clinical plans (overall and daily) and evaluation methodology for clinical sitesMonitor and ensure preceptors and clinical sites are appropriately credentialed and approved by the accrediting bodyEngage with local clinical site managers and preceptors to ensure student participationWork with students in the clinical environment to ensure clinical competencePrepare and maintain paperwork (competency tracking) and clinical site applications for the accrediting body's approval and auditingMaintain a record of all clinical competencies, recorded in Salesforce, and scan documents for storage in SharepointSolicit feedback and overall satisfaction with clinical site engagementEnsure student attendance and dress policyAdjust curriculum/course outlines and objectives as required to meet industry and governing body standardsIdentify participants in need of support and provide them with appropriate coaching, guidance, and referrals for counseling and tutoringUsing adult learning principles and appropriate classroom and clinical management techniques, ensure: o A high degree of learning by program participants o Maintenance of proper etiquette in clinical sites and classroom o Disciplined replication of workplace expectations, including those related to on-time arrival and attendance, attire, comportment, and interpersonal interactions o Achievement of program goalsEnsure that clinical sites are maintained in a safe, neat, and orderly fashionParticipate in program graduations, including candidate presentationsEnsure class rosters, attendance, drop sheets, and graduation information are collected, accurate, and completeProcess, complete, and submit all required paperworkParticipate with staff in recruitment, orientation, screening, testing, assessment, and the selection of qualified program participantsPerform related duties as assigned by the Chief Academic Officer and Program Director or JVS Senior LeadershipDuties and responsibilities are carried out independently within established policies, procedures, and guidelines.

    Additionally, the successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, resourcefulness, initiative, attention to detail, ability to perform comfortably in a business and social service environment, strong written and oral communication/presentation skills, a high level of tact and diplomacy, public speaking capability, and professional appearance.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the essential functions of this job, the incumbent must be able to do the following:

    stand for extended periods; sit for extended periods; bend and reach for filing and other job-related functions; climb up and down stairs; bend, stoop, and lift to move and retrieve materials; pull, push, and lift; reach both above and below shoulder height.

    Specific visual abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to inspect work visually. Manual dexterity to operate computers and other office equipment is required. An employee must meet the physical demands described above to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.     Requirements Minimum two-year degree (AS, AA)Minimum three years of experience as a radiologic technologist (CA CRT) or DEXA technologist (LT with DEXA)Supervisory/managerial responsibility preferredHospital and healthcare industry knowledge preferred Classroom and clinical training/coaching experience preferredMust be able to work effectively with a diverse student population, including low- to moderate-income individuals who face barriers to employmentProficiency with computers to assist students in accessing online portions of the training, including Microsoft Office applications and internet tools.

    Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools including SalesforceStrong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with program participants, JVS staff, and other training partnersMust model professional behavior (communication, punctuality, etc.)

    Salary Description $80,000 to $85,000
