Vice President of Linehaul - Michigan, United States - Central Transport

Central Transport is a leading, family-owned LTL carrier, operating more than 18,000 shipments daily, with a rich 90-year history rooted in Detroit, MI metro area. With over 200 terminals nationwide, we conduct over $1 billion in business. Our goal is to double our revenue in the next two years, offering growth opportunities within the company as we expand. We are in search of a leader for our Linehaul department based in Warren, MI Headquarters.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of the Linehaul program, directing a team of 3 managers, 2 leads, and 20+ dispatchers.
• Instilling our corporate culture in both office and field employees.
• Collaborating with other departments to optimize load factor and quality.
• Playing a key leadership role to support company objectives.
• Implementing and managing Company KPI metrics.
• Optimizing load and lane planning.
• Encouraging innovation and identifying areas for network improvement.
• Potential travel required.

Requirements:

• Significant experience in Asset-based LTL.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to manage a large team across multiple shifts.
• Hands-on experience with Linehaul operations, including optimization and planning.
• Familiarity with dispatch operations.
• Ability to drive goals and enhance KPI's.
• Degree is a plus.
• Located in or willing to move to Warren, MI.
