    Description

    Clarifi Staffing Solutions is looking for a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist to join their team in providing services across Illinois school districts.

    This role presents an exciting chance to positively influence students' lives by addressing speech and language challenges, and promoting language development in both English and Spanish.

    As a Bilingual SLP, you will play a crucial role in supporting bilingual and multilingual students' academic and social-emotional well-being.


    Responsibilities:

    • Perform thorough assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities in English and Spanish.
    • Create and execute personalized treatment plans for speech and language disorders, covering articulation, fluency, voice, and language comprehension.
    • Deliver direct therapy to students individually or in small groups, focusing on specific communication objectives.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational professionals to integrate speech and language goals into students' academic curriculum.
    • Provide guidance to teachers and school staff on promoting language development in bilingual classrooms.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports in compliance with regulations.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in developing goals and interventions.

    Requirements:

    - Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.

    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
    • Valid Illinois state license or eligibility for Speech Language Pathology licensure.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills.
    • Experience working with diverse populations, preferably in a school environment.
    • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in assessment and intervention for bilingual students.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
