    Regional Sales Manager, Building Construction – Dallas or Austin areas

    When an entire city needs to be rendered into a 3D model, utilities buried deep under soil need to be uncovered, highly complex infrastructure projects need to be implemented and even when crime scene investigation needs to be documented – that's Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon. More than 5'000 employees in 33 countries help us develop the latest technologies for Machine Control, Reality Capture, survey and measurement.

    The position is responsible for representing and selling designated building construction products including GPS infrastructure, software, and services to new and existing customers in Dallas or Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will need to have an active and collaborative approach to our Go-To-Market Strategy. S/he is expected to come up with creative ways to exceed sales targets and maximizing sales in the assigned territory. This position pays base plus commission and total compensation is expected to be around $130K - 140K. No cap on commission

    WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

    • Sales calls and closing sales orders by assessment of customer needs and matching identified needs with Leica products and services.
    • Advising new & existing clients on new solutions to their infrastructure & engineering challenges with a view to becoming more efficient & cost effective.
    • Demonstration of equipment, using a collaborative approach to help customers solve problems, and save time and/or money. Training dealers and customers where appropriate.
    • Partner with Sales Application Engineer in the pre and post-sales process to help demonstrate how the features of our products can help solve a business need for them.
    • Proposes/assist in trade shows, conferences and exhibitions.

    OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

    • Degree from technical institute or commercial college with an emphasis on surveying or civil engineering or related field; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in all applications of surveying and related software.
    • Familiarity with Leica High-End hardware and software would be a distinct advantage.
    • A strong aptitude for sales along with excellent technical, communications and presentation skills required. Must be proficient in the working of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and E-mail.
    • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills.
    • Likes to learn and is open to continuous feedback.
    • Working knowledge of preferred.
