    Description

    Overview:
    We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team.

    As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to help diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

    Duties:

    • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging procedures
    • Operate specialized imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET scanners
    • Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort during imaging procedures
    • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions or complications
    • Capture highquality images of the targeted areas using the appropriate imaging techniques
    • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information
    • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
    • Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on imaging equipment

    Skills:

    • Indepth knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, techniques, and equipment
    • Proficiency in administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating imaging equipment
    • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and regulations
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
    • Attention to detail to ensure accurate positioning of patients and capture of highquality images
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
    • Strong problemsolving skills to troubleshoot technical issues during imaging procedures

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
    • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
    • State licensure or certification as required by the state regulatory agency
    • CPR certification
