    Job Title: 1st Class Electrician

    We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Hutco, Inc.

    Job Summary:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the layout, installation, and repair of shipboard cables, lighting, and electronic equipment. They will utilize hand and power tools, test equipment, and have a working knowledge of blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lay out, install, and repair shipboard cables, lighting, and electronic equipment
    • Utilize hand and power tools, test equipment, and blueprints to perform tasks
    • Work from standard and metric specifications
    • Maintain accurate records of work performed

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience in the commercial, industrial, or marine electrical field
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 1 year of shipboard experience in sonar, radar, power, internal communication, navigation, etc.
    • Able to read marine blueprints
    • Able to work from standard and metric specifications
    • Experience with wiring hookup and fiber optics
    • Able to work any shift
    • Pass a drug screen (HFT) and background check
