Summary of the Extrusion Process Leader Position:
We are currently seeking an experienced Manual Extrusion Process Leader for immediate employment in the Willmar, Minnesota area. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in the human food or pet food industry. We offer a sign on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates. Both day and night shifts are available.

Responsibilities of the

Extrusion Process Leader:
Operate and maintain extrusion machines.
Coordinate production runs to ensure timely completion of orders.
Monitor and document product measurements, such as salt, caustic, temperature, density, and moisture levels.
Troubleshoot and adjust screw configuration as needed.
Ensure quality assurance of processed products.
Provide training and supervision to extrusion operators.


Education & Experience Required:
Previous experience in extrusion process is a must.
Supervisory and training experience is required.
Familiarity with screw configuration is necessary.
Experience in a human food or pet food manufacturing environment is preferred.
Basic mathematical skills are required.
Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools is necessary.
Ability to read and interpret process instructions from manuals is required.
Ability to work 10-hour shifts on either day shift (6am-6pm) or night shift (6pm-6am) from Monday to Thursday.
