    Description

    We Are Hiring: Respiratory Therapist

    Salary: Dependent on Experience - Weekly Pay with Benefit Options

    Schedule:

    • Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    *6-Month Minimum Contract Assignment with Potential Extension

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Performing complex respiratory therapy procedures as requested by physicians;
    • Providing technical support in various respiratory treatments;
    • Collaborating with medical personnel to update on patient progress;
    • Conducting training sessions on respiratory exercises for residents and staff;
    • Supervising staff to ensure quality care;
    • Maintaining and repairing respiratory equipment;
    • Participating in Interdisciplinary meetings for patient care planning.

    Requirements:

    • Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner certification in Texas;
    • Current CPR certification;
    • Valid Photo ID.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in respiratory therapy;
    • Preferably experienced in working with Individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (IDD);
    • Knowledge of nursing procedures and health care laws;
    • Strong communication and instructional skills;
    • Proficiency in computer operation and software;
    • Ability to handle patient care and maintain records accurately.
