As a Compliance Project Manager at Empower, you will be pivotal in ensuring that our operations align with regulatory standards, directly contributing to our mission of delivering quality, affordable medication.
Positioned within the Compliance Department and reporting to the VP of Compliance, your role encompasses the strategic planning, execution, and management of compliance-driven initiatives across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include the development of detailed project plans that outline key tasks, timelines, and resources, ensuring seamless integration of new compliance programs, policies, and technologies.
You will lead projects frominception
to conclusion,
maintaining
strict adherence to deadlines and budgetary guidelines while continuously
monitoring
regulatory landscapes to ensure our practices
remain
compliant.
This role demands a proactive approach to risk management,
identifying
potential compliance issues, and devising effective mitigation strategies.
Your ability to foster clear communication and
maintain
meticulous documentation will ensure transparency and alignment with our compliance
objectives

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop

comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements for compliance-related initiatives
Execute
s
and oversee

projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints
Stay

abreast of relevant industry regulations and standards
Collaborate
s
with legal and compliance teams to interpret and implement regulatory requirements into project plans
Conduct
s
risk assessments related to compliance projects and develop
s
strategies to mitigate identified risks
Work
s
closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Quality Assurance, Operations, and IT, to integrate compliance requirements into various projects
Foster
s
effective communication channels to ensure alignment and understanding of compliance goals
Maintain
s
accurate
and up-to-date documentation related to compliance projects
Prepare
s
regular reports for senior management, summarizing project status, milestones achieved, and potential challenges

Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's
or advanced
degree
