- Monthly & Quarterly close procedures and preparation of financial statements
- Manage all areas of Cash Management, AR, AP, capital contributions and distributions, etc.
- Quarterly account reconciliations
- Review tax calculations at the property level for accuracy
- Monthly loan payment process including reviewing amortization schedules, re-calculating loan payments, etc.
- Review work of Jr. Accountants
- Assist in Ad-hoc requests and special projects as needed
- BS in Accounting is required
- 2+ years of public accounting and/or industry experience
- Real estate industry experience is highly preferred
- CPA/CPA Tracking is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Yardi is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job DescriptionLHH is partnering with a growing real estate management company in Oak Brook, IL, on a Senior Accountant opportunity. This is an exciting opportunity to be developed and mentored under strong leadership within a fast-paced environment. Not one day is the same, and this individual will gain exposure to the corporate, development, and property management arms of the business.
The ideal candidate will require a BS in Accounting, 2+ years of public accounting, and/or industry experience within a real estate setting. This position is required to be onsite 5 days/week. Our clients offer flexible start/stop times, amazing WLB (40-hour work weeks), competitive compensation packages, strong benefits, and a collaborative culture.
