Job Description for Mechanical Design EngineerNPC Global is a distribution company in Carteret NJ looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to our expanding teamJob ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Include (but not limited to):Design quality solutions for the businessDevelop packaging designs in line with customer needsOversee complete packaging development process; creating of packaging design, prototype development and performance testingDefine packages/materials to meet product requirements; reliability, performance, manufacturability and costCreate customer relationships to help sell design and custom solutionsEstablish guidelines for suppliers and internal packaging processesExperience and competency in autoCADBe able to accomplish multiple projects simultaneouslyRequirementsBachelors Degree is required; Packaging Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical)Masters Degree Preferred; Packaging Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical)4+ years of Packaging Design experience (or relevant level of experience)Strong knowledge of packaging design materialsStrong understanding of industrial design, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain in a globally sourced environment (Asia, North America)Customer service orientatedDemonstrated understanding of engineering principlesDemonstrated interpersonal and communication skillsAdvanced level of software programsProduct-focused creative thinkingCompany BenefitsFull Time PositionCompetitive SalaryFully Paid Medical Insurance50% Coverage Dental Plan50% Coverage Vision PlanLife InsuranceGenerous PTO Package#J-18808-Ljbffr
