    About the Role

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to Civil Litigation and Family Law.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
    • Provide legal advice and representation in various areas of law including Civil Litigation and Family Law.
    • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
    • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management.
    • Attend court hearings and mediations as necessary to represent clients effectively.
    • Maintain organized case files and documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.
    • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on their cases and answer any inquiries.

    Requirements:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to the California bar.
    • 3-5 years experience in a law office setting.
    • Knowledge of Litigation and Family Law is highly desirable.
    • Background in Estate Planning and/or Tax Law is also a plus but not required.
    • Strong writing skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
    • Proficient negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
    • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for conducting thorough legal research.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple cases efficiently.

    We are a small firm with two attorneys, two paralegals, and office staff. Our main practice is civil litigation, family law, tax law, and estate planning. We need fast workers who can adapt and transition quickly due to our rapid business growth.
