job summary:
An EH&S Coordinator is needed for a leading manufacturing organization near Long Beach, CA.
In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining a safe and environmentally conscious workplace by identifying hazards, leading safety initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Qualified candidates must have 2years of related EH&S experience within a manufacturing or logistical environment. A Bachelor's degree in safety is desired although equivalent work experience will be considered.The ability to obtain a TWIC card is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential. Strong communication, organizational skills, and experience in project management are also required.
This is a contract role slated to last 3months with a definitive possibility of extension.

Identify, anticipate, and address safety and environmental concerns
Manage the on-site ergonomics program
Support investigation and implementation of safety incidents and accidents

Prepare health and safety reports and environmental requirements
Lead safety committee meetings and emergency evacuation drills
The essential functions of this role include:
