    Description

    In partnership with the University of Arizona, the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Banner University Medicine Tucson is seeking a full-time Pediatric and Oncology Orthopedic Surgeon to join our thriving clinical faculty This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing practice. Banner Health's team of orthopedic specialists offer exceptional and comprehensive care for EVERY patient. The hired physician will receive a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona that is commensurate with experience.


    Requirements

    • MD with AZ license required upon start
    • Fellowship Training in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery
    • Fellowship Training in Pediatric Orthopedic Oncology Surgery
    • Experience and/or enthusiasm for working and teaching in an Academic Medicine setting
    • Experience of at least on year is preferred, highly qualified graduating fellows will be considered

    • Full-time (1.0 FTE)
    • Mon-Fri Normal Business Hours
    • Call – Shared/Hospital Call
    • Teach and mentor residents
    • Research opportunities, if interested

    Practice Profile

    • 13 Surgeons - Hand & Upper Extremity, Trauma, Foot & Ankle, Sports Medicine, and General Orthopedics
    • 20 Orthopedic residents
    • 4 APPs
