- Collaborate with financial team members to analyze financial data, identify trends, and assess financial performance.
- Participate in budgeting processes, including planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop financial models and conduct benchmarking for decision support.
- Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance.
- Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc.
- Monitor variances, investigate inconsistencies, and propose corrective actions.
- Implement cost analysis improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Participate in the development of long-term business plans.
- Understand and adhere to all financial and reporting regulations, including those related to auditing, taxes, and required financial disclosures.
- Participate in special projects as required.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Masters degree or relevant certification (such as CFA/CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in partnership accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial data and create meaningful, understandable models for business use.
