    The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join our sales team and manage South Dakota/North Dakota territory.

    The Territory Sales Manager is charged with developing and prospecting long term, profitable customer relationships.

    A highly, intrinsically motivated Territory Sales Manager will be encouraged to provide deep product expertise and sales assistance to dealers and end users across AGI's digital product lines while also listening to their needs and ensuring that solutions are offered, sold, and followed through with.

    AGI Digital products are sold through a comprehensive network of knowledgeable and highly skilled dealers, distributors and grower organizations.

    We win togetherResponsibilitiesThe Territory Sales Manager will develop and execute strategic sales plans to promote customer satisfaction and continued growth.


    More specifically, the Territory Sales Manager will:

    • Grow and strengthen AGI Digital's relationships with existing and potential dealers to enhance loyalty & commitment.
    • Identify and recruit new dealers within the assigned territory.
    • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to dealers and end users.
    • Provide training and support to dealers on product features, benefits, and sales strategies.
    • Assist in developing solutions that best address the needs of the dealer network, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary stakeholders.
    • Effectively manage a territory and maximize business potential.
    • Drive new customer business through networking, referrals, cold calling, and trade shows.
    • Enter all Customer Opportunities into the AGI Digital Sales Portal/SalesForce CRM and actively manage and maintain Opportunity status.
    • Develop or support development of AGI Digital quotes for end-users to insure accurate cost estimating.
    • Work with internal departments to solve problems and develop solutions for customer accounts.
    • Strategize with management to locate and maximize sales opportunities.
    • Develop strategies and provide feedback to ensure we remain competitive in the market.
    • Gather and share competitive information with appropriate internal departments.
    • Execute sales strategy within existing territory to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
    • Assist with customer retention by being aware of competitive situations and meeting with the customers.
    • Build relationships with customer decision makers and provide extraordinary customer service.
    • Collaborate with internal teams across AGI's other brands & product offerings to advocate AGI to all customers.
    • Ensure sales and retention goals for all products are met.
    • Responsible for following the company's safety policies, procedures, and compliance rules.
    • Required to work in a team atmosphere.
    • Evening and weekend hours may be required.
    • Regular attendance is required.
    • All other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications

    • Possess sales and business acumen, ideally coupled with an Ag Business, Economics, Marketing or related degree, or equivalent commensurate experience.
    • Have two to four years of demonstrated sales or customer service achievements preferably in the agriculture technology Industry.
    • Proven experience in building and managing a dealer network, preferably in the agriculture technology industry.
    • Grain storage, monitoring, & automation knowledge helpful.
    • Solid sales and marketing capabilities, with a good understanding of market segmentation.
    • Proven history of managing a complex technical product line (ie. Digital ag solutions).
    • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Outstanding customer relationship building skills, including active listening.
    • Regular travel across the defined territory required with occasional extensive travel for sales meetings, national trade shows and other events.
