- Follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Communicate effectively with other members of the production team
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Be able to pass physical and drug tests
- Prior lumber manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required
- Ability to learn and follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Ability to push, pull, twist, lift, crouch and bend as needed.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to interact effectively and respectfully with others
- Open to overtime and occasional Saturday work, as the market dictates

Description
The primary responsibility of the Green Chain Puller is to pull lumber from a moving conveyor (chain) and stack it in a safe and efficient manner.
The Chain Puller works closely with other members of the green chain to properly sort, manage and prepare lumber for the next stage of production.
