    **Job Summary**:

    A part-time Psychiatrist opportunity is available at Willow Creek Behavioral Health in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will provide medical and psychiatric services to patients, including initial and continued assessments, treatment planning, and implementation of treatment plans.

    Roles and Responsibilities

      • Provides clinical services to patients within established medical protocols.
      • Reviews patient medical information to ensure stability and provides medical recommendations.
      • Evaluates patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
      • Treats or directs the treatment of patients using various psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
      • Completes medical information for individual care plans, documents services, and maintains confidential documentation.
      • Performs various professional assignments, including admissions, covering staff during vacations, and appearing in court for involuntary commitments.
      • Provides information and insights about patient progress to clinicians and other treatment professionals.

    Requirements

      • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) with completion of psychiatric residency training.
      • One or more years of post-graduate practice experience preferred.
      • Current license to practice medicine in the state where the facility operates.
      • Board certification or eligibility in a behavioral health specialty.
      • Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions.
      • CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
