    Job DescriptionRole:

    Responsible for the overall core data processing system of the Credit Union, and working knowledge of all

    related processing platforms.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    • Ensures daily and monthly processes are completed successfully by continuously implementing efficiencies for the core and related member-facing systems. Coordinating the maintenance, testing, and roll out of the core system updates.
    • Works closely and professionally with other credit union departments, business partners, and vendors. Ensures timely and accurate communication with all parties.
    • Assist in the execution of project plans and status reports, related to the core system.
    • Manage end user ticketing system to address core system issues and change requests. Complete all tickets in a timely and accurate manner and follow through to resolution. Utilize service vendor contacts and ticketing systems to resolve escalated issues. Provide clear communication with end users on the status of tickets until resolved.
    • Process employee status tickets in an efficient and confidential manner.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Performance Measurements:

    1. To provide prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous support to staff regarding the core system and

    troubleshoot problems or information requests. Work closely with vendors in the same way.

    2. To maintain and extend knowledge in areas of application design to ensure credit union does not encounter

    technical inefficiencies. Learn and adapt to new software and systems.

    3. To complete tasks and projects as assigned and within the time originally scheduled. Maintains

    confidentiality of credit union, vendor and employee information.

    4. Communicate effectively with management. Communicate issues in a timely and appropriate manner.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Experience

    One year to three years of similar or related experience.

    Education

    A two-year college degree, or equivalent

    Interpersonal Skills

    Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for

    purposes of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.

    Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy

    and tact in communication.

    Other Skills

    1. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure are required.

    2. Must be able to work and travel independently and use general office equipment.

    3. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

    4. Must have good time management skills.
