- Develop and administrate user access to financial systems
- Mentor, train and supervise finance users across several key systems
- Prepare monthly reporting while designing methods to improve & automate
- Recommend and implement improvements in financial reporting policies and procedures
- Reconcile large datasets related to Sales, AP, AR, cash, inventories
- Communicate clearly and effectively both internally and with external suppliers
- Assist with monthly & quarterly reporting, including analysis and inquiry with divisions
- Prepare, monitor and drive improvement in key financial performance indicators
- Project management, ensuring initiatives progress on time and on budget
- Assist in the preparation of annual budget and rolling forecasts
- Compile and provide support for quarterly and annual reviews and audits
- Monitor internal controls to ensure proper compliance
- Attendance at work is an essential function of the job
- Bachelor's degree in IT or Accounting
- Knowledge of US generally accepted accounting principles and understanding of SEC reporting requirements
- Experience in financial reporting, including consolidation, cash flow, inventory valuation
- Ability to use sound judgement in implementing efficient solutions to challenges
- SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS:
- Detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and communicate effectively
- Strong analytical and technical skills, including ability to learn and master new software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Power Apps (PowerBI, PowerQuery), SQL
- Knowledge/Experience with the following systems a plus: SAP, Syteline, CCH Tagetik, Sage FAS
