    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
    • 3-10 years of experience in requirements planning and management.
    • Experience with the DoD requirements process.
    • Experience with AF instructions, security implementation guides, and other pertinent directives.
    • TS/SCI
    • At least one of the following Weapons Systems/Technologies: AFINC, ACD, CDA, CSCS, JWICS, SAP, and XCOMM
    • IAM II Certified
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Desired Skills:


    Master's degree in a related field, Experience with project management, Experience with systems engineering, Experience with risk management, and Experience with software development.

    The Requirements Systems Engineer is responsible for providing project collaboration and on-boarding support to the Government in monitoring and tracking projects implemented by internal or external organization project teams affecting the AFIN.

    The incumbent will also advise688th Cyberspace Wing staff and project team leads in guiding, tracking, and documenting project activities such as collaboration, operational support, engineering initiatives, integration of new tools, processes, and capabilities, conducting of tests, and conformance to standards as provided in AF instructions, security implementation guides, or other pertinent directives.

    Additionally, the incumbent will deliver Cyber Capability Requirements Planning products and ensure that delivery deadlines are met.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide project collaboration and on-boarding support to the Government in monitoring and tracking projects implemented by internal or external organization project teams affecting the AFIN.
    • Advise688th Cyberspace Wing staff and project team leads in guiding, tracking, and documenting project activities such as collaboration, operational support, engineering initiatives, integration of new tools, processes, and capabilities, conducting of tests, and conformance to standards as provided in AF instructions, security implementation guides, or other pertinent directives.
    • Deliver Cyber Capability Requirements Planning products and ensure that delivery deadlines are met.
    • Engage and collaborate with requirement initiators, process owners, and mission area leads to ensure the preparation, processing, and coordination of Cyber Needs Forms (CNF), AF Forms 1067, and unfunded requirements (UFRs) meet deadlines and select the appropriate equipment, hardware, software, and/or firmware tool that best aligns with enterprise standardization strategy identified for the requirement.
    • Advise, coordinate, track, and maintain weapons systems requirements impacting wing operations.
    • Perform an evaluation requirement that impacts wing operations, downward directed tasks to review, revise or comment on HHQ governance.
    • Advise, coordinate, track, and maintain copies of requirements impacting 688 CW weapons systems.
    • Maintain a weapons systems requirements knowledgebase enabling strategic thinking and requirements processing.
    • Maintain a requirements repository to keep 688 CW, NAF, and MAJCOM leadership informed. Collaborate regularly with PMO and HQ CCC counterparts to advance Wing requirements.
    • Develop, revise and coordinate requirements in support of assigned missions.
    • Review requirements inputs for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with AF instructions, security implementation guides, or other pertinent directives.
    • Develop and maintain a requirements traceability matrix to track the status of requirements throughout the requirements process.
    • Conduct requirements analysis to identify and document the impact of changes to requirements on existing systems, processes, and capabilities.
    • Prepare and present requirements briefings to senior leadership.
