    POSITION SUMMARY

    Reporting to the Director of Store Fulfillment and Aftermarket Logistics, DGR Warehouse Operations Team Lead assists and supports donations recycling through executing warehouse operations activities. Primary function is to move donated goods to and from vehicles and stations within warehouse, while assisting with training and guidance of Material Handler/Warehouse Workers. This position is responsible for the safety of team members and customers at all times while on Goodwill property.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Follow all DGR operations safety standards. Set the example for developing a culture of safety, ethics and quality within warehouse operations.
    2. Move donated goods, and assist in the guidance of co-workers to move donated goods to and from vehicles and stations within warehouse operation.
    3. Operate fork truck, pallet jacks, tippers, bailers and other machinery as directed to move donated goods.
    4. Continuously work to improve skills through continuous OJT and completion of formal training programs, with special attention to safety training.
    5. Ensure work areas and facilities remain clean and organized.
    6. Keep work area clean by sweeping, emptying trash cans and disposing of trash in appropriate containers.
    7. Maintain good housekeeping standards.
    8. Adhere to Loss Prevention and inventory control and compliance procedures.
    9. Provide training, guidance and support to co-workers in the performance of their warehouse operations duties.
    10. Stay alert to operations performance standards and immediately notify a supervisor or manager to correct deficiencies and communicate with sense of urgency and pride in maintaining high standards.
    11. At direction of supervisor or manager, assist with all duties as assigned, including scheduling, training and coaching.
    REQUIREMENTS
    1. High School diploma or GED preferred.
    2. Minimum 1 year experience performing DGR warehouse operations duties; supervisory experience a plus.
    3. Must be able to qualify to operate motorized fork truck.
    4. Experience working in indoor/outdoor conditions, some cold and heat exposure.
    5. May need to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds in support of donation and production areas.
    6. Good verbal communication skills with ability to effectively work as a team to achieve mission goals.
    7. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
    8. For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.
