Job Description

Job Summary: Senior Helpers, a nationally recognized provider of in-home senior care services, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at our Myrtle Beach location hiring in Little River, South Carolina. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing non-medical assistance and support to elderly clients in their homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the healthcare/medical industry with a competitive salary.

Responsibilities:

Provide non-medical assistance and support to elderly clients in their homes
Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Assist with mobility and ambulation
Help with household tasks, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
Observe and report any physical or emotional changes in clients' conditions to management
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client care and activities

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role preferred
CNA certification is a plus
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
