- Support clients in coordinating essential medical care
- Aid in case initiation, record collection, and liaison with providers
- Assist in report compilation, correspondence, invoicing, and collections
- Engage with insurance companies, legal teams, and healthcare professionals
- Ensure accurate documentation for insurers and attorneys
- Facilitate logistical arrangements for necessary services
- Attend meetings as required
- Experience in injury/illness rehabilitation, medical documentation, and care coordination
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with community resources and funding mechanisms
- Knowledge of brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic injuries, and complex medical cases beneficial
- Background in discharge planning, UR, rehabilitation, and community-based care
- Preferably, a medical background or relevant experience
- Licensed professionals can utilize this role for case management training, with OT, RN, BSN, MSW backgrounds advantageous
