    Position Summary:
    The Welding Fabricator works under general supervision inside a shop to weld/fabricate industrial machinery, specifically waster compactors and containers with a creative mind for fabrication on unique jobs

    Your Role:
    Work in a team environment and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

    Performs Welding, Fabrication, RebuildsWorks in a safety conscious environment as a self starterCompletes required work, and accounting for repair times.

    Maintains a clean, safe work area in com0pliance with corporate Occupational Safety and Health Administration and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

    Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.

    Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.


    Your Skills:

    Must have excellent communication skills to interact with co-workers, departments in a professional manner according to our Company standards/procedures.

    Knowledge of tools, and methods of gas and electric weldingAbility to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.

    Ability to take and understand oral instructions.
    Reliability and dependability.


    Requirements:


    At least 5 years of welding, fabrication and painting experienceKnowledge of and appreciation for safe work habitsForklift experienceValid driver's licenseHold an appropriate CDL or be willing to obtain appropriate CDLGritty, outgoing, and eager to learn.
