Paul metropolitan area providing essential services to our region:
transportation, wastewater treatment, growth and development of local communities, affordable housing programs, and regional park systems.
Join an award-winning wastewater industry leader in protecting our environment The Metropolitan Council's Environmental Services (MCES) Division operates and maintains the wastewater collection and treatment system in the Twin Cities metropolitan region.
The Financial Analyst supports the MCES annual rate setting, debt structuring and issuance, Sewer Availability Charge (SAC) deferral program, and project financial analyses.
This position also conducts rate surveys, assists with Public Facilities Authority (PFA) loan applications, tracks capital spending and history, and maintains special loan agreements with select cities.
This position is eligible for hybrid (remote and onsite) teleworking. The Council offers a full benefits package that includes insurance that starts on day one, participation in the MN State Retirement System (MSRS), 13 paid holidays, generous annual leave (vacation/sick) accrual, free Metro Transit rides, and moreSalary Range:
$78,582 - $127,546 annually
