:Meade District Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Scrub Tech.
Hours will be split between our Surgery Department and Central Supply Department.
**Hours spent in Central Supply will depending on how many surgeries are scheduled each week.

Responsibilities:
* demonstrates competence in care of specimens
* assists in positioning, prepping and draping of patients.
* accurately completes counts and follows proper procedure in the even of incorrect count.
* maintains safe environment for patients, co-workers and self
* checks all equipment/instruments needed prior to each procedure to ensure proper functioning.
* treats patients with respect and dignity
* anticipates needs of surgeon during intra-operative phase
* cleans and prepares rooms between procedures, after case, restocks supplies and organizes effectively for end-of-case clean up
* responsible for care of instruments including cleaning and processing.
* consults other staff members when in question or unfamiliar with equipment or procedure.
* performs any tasks assigned by your supervisor.
