Description

NYCOA is seeking a highly motivated full-time Warehouse/Shipping Supervisor to join their team in Manchester, NH. As a Warehouse/Shipping Supervisor, you will oversee our warehouse operations and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, as well as ensuring efficient and timely product shipment. They will manage a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and teamwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee day-to-day activities in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of goods.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
Implement and enforce best practices for inventory management and space utilization.
Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
Provide coaching and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the warehouse and shipping operations.
Implement changes and initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
Train and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.

SCHEDULE This is a full-time, day shift position working Monday-Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience working in warehouse operations and/or shipping operations a plus.
Experience in leadership or management a plus.
Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
3-5 years supervisory experience in Shipping/Receiving/Warehousing.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to supervise 3-5 employees.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Basic math and computer skills.
Able to safely operate sit down and stand-up gas & electric forklifts & pallet jacks.
Capable of using 2-wheel dolly hand trucks to move rolls up to 250 lbs.
