Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The RN Clinical Float Pool assesses, analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care following established patient care standards for the organization including those for patient assessment and transfer.
The primary role of this job, depending on the hiring tier, is to be available and adaptable to float to different departments and sites throughout the markets within the organization to provide patient care. This could involve various scenarios such as scheduling staffing on the day, working in multiple locations during a single shift, accepting travel assignments, or following seasonal staffing patterns.
Participates as a valuable member of the healthcare team, collaborating with and under the guidance of a clinical manager or designated individual as outlined by the relevant Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse.
