- The Medical Lab Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic quality routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests according to pre-established guidelines.
- Schedules and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience.
- Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures and maintains records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP), or CLT (NCA) or equivalent is required.
- Experience:
- Requires graduation from a Medical Lab Technician program and passing a national exam given by the Board of Registry of the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
- PRN -as needed
- Available to work weekends/holidays
