The UCCU Center at Utah Valley University are seeking a skilled and motivated individuals to work part time as Guest Services Representatives. Come join our team and and be a part of some of the most exciting events, concerts, and tournaments in Utah. This position will be involved with greeting guests, taking tickets, and assisting with guest questions and needs. The UCCU Center is an exciting environment to work in where each day and each event present new challenges. We would love for you to be a part of our team

Summary of Responsibilities

Guest Service Ushers contribute to the successful execution of events by ensuring the safety of guests and compliance with campus, state, and industry protocols. Verifying correct tickets, helping patrons locate seats, providing information on events, assists in parking areas, clearing arena, making lasting positive relationships, and other duties as assigned are all crucial daily activities for Event Ushers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current UVU Student
• Graduation with a high school diploma or GED.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities

• Problem solving skills.
• Interpersonal verbal communication and decision making skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal procedures.
• Ability to meet and work with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to be attentive to, aware of, and available to assist patrons.
