    Description
    POSITION PURPOSE

    Responsible for the assignment and coordination of maintenance resources and work schedules to properly maintain equipment availability and reliability to meet site production targets.

    This position will also:
  • Provide the critical function within the maintenance team by performing maintenance tasks regarding corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, work order and vendor account management
  • Regularly completes accurate time sensitive reports from the sites Fleet Management System and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Responsible for providing knowledge, experience and expertise in maintenance scheduling and prioritization activities

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • 70% of the Maintenance Scheduler's time will be spent on developing daily schedules, work order management and parts coordination while the remaining 30% will be spent in the field.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage scheduled parts inventory
  • Provide daily updates to the Equipment Care Advisory list.
  • Assigning maintenance resources to ensure work schedules are fulfilled on time.
  • Support both the maintenance planning and execution teams to deliver against performance targets.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize existing processes, practices, and equipment performance to improve cost and production goals.
  • Contractor reconciliation - invoicing
  • Distribute equipment service information and reports
  • Participate in weekly maintenance review meeting: Review weekly performance, operating issues and risks, and the weekend plan.
  • Manage notifications & work orders from Front Line Supervision to reduce redundancies and ensure prioritization
  • Review maintenance daily activities and supports the maintenance team to identify risks related to equipment reliability.
  • Perform field assessments before and after maintenance activities to optimize efficiencies and identify scheduling improvement opportunities.
  • Manage component cores and parts for return.
  • Serve as primary liaison between Planning, Reliability & Execution
  • ESAP Key User for Mine Maintenance
  • Assist in invoice reviews and payment approvals
  • Review and validate clarity of work requests
  • Produce cost estimates as required
  • Estimate labor hours and materials required
  • Develop and update Mine Maintenance procedures and policies
  • Develop and maintain scheduled capacity report

    YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 5 years' maintenance planning experience in the mining industry with practical experience in Preventive Maintenance.

    Preferred:

  • 1+ years in a scheduling or planning role

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES (KSA):

  • Knowledge of PV Safety and Quality standards.
  • Intermediate knowledge of preventive maintenance process and planning practices highly regarded
  • Knowledge of Computerized Management Systems highly regarded
  • SAP knowledge specifically as a plus.
  • Exposure to advanced planning tools such as MS Project or similar.
  • Familiarity in the utilization of MS tools such as WORD and EXCEL.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience in the management of scheduling, forecasting, and basic budgeting.
