- Administer medically prescribed medications safely and effectively, understanding their indications and contraindications.
- Familiarize yourself with the policy and procedures for administering therapeutic modalities, including Small Volume Nebulizer (SVN), Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), EKG, and Oxygen Therapy via a 1 - 6 lpm Nasal Cannula.
- Maintain accurate and legible records, documenting clinical notes in patient charts.
- Participate in reporting patient progress and prioritizing patient conditions for the next shift.
- Attend staff meetings, lectures, conferences, and seminars to stay current with professional development opportunities.
- A Technical Diploma/Certificate in Paramedicine or Practical Nursing.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or eligible compact state
- Paramedic License in the State of Florida
- BLS for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association
