    Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist

    We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house team of professionals at Creative Solutions in Healthcare.

    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly qualified SLP to provide person-centered care and achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with our team, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate resident conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits, and develop personalized treatment plans to address these needs.
    • Provide education and training to residents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals on speech and language therapy best practices.
    • Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions to improve resident independence and functioning.
    • Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate diagnostic swallowing procedures and provide augmentative and alternative communication systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
    • Demonstrate technical expertise and stay current with industry standards and regulations.

    Requirements

    • Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
    • In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
    • SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
    • Current knowledge of treatment practices and electronic documentation systems.
    • Ability to manage patients with diverse personalities and backgrounds.
