    Job DescriptionFunctional reporting to the VP
    • Engineering and TechnicalTechnical support, qualification, and further development of international suppliers with a focus on the metal processing industryTravel will be required to perform onsite audits and inspectionsAudit of existing suppliers and make decisions about their quality capabilityBe responsible for quality assurance processes of incoming goodsDevelop a receiving protocol for all HUBs and RegionsTrain regional staff on inspection and evaluation of new material and material returned from job sitesDeal with local, regional, and central suppliers about non conformitiesElaborate test schedules for incoming goods and required inspection equipmentDevelop a robust supplier continuous improvement processLead annual improvement initiatives with all suppliersLead a team of Quality personnel responsible for factory production and certificationsBe part of an international network of quality engineersAct as an interface between the HQ and the regionsLead ISO 9001Implement global quality standards and processesContact person for all quality assurance related questions for the global businessQualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical field, ideally with a focus on metal processing (technologies, welding, machines, factories, processes, tools).
    Approx. 3-5 years of work experience in industrial metal processing, ideally in quality control.
    Excellent knowledge in welding
    • Steel and AluminumUnderstanding of Lean processesExcellent communication skills in EnglishExperience in working as part of a dynamic global team Proactivity and self motivationInterpersonal skillsAbility to negotiate and convince peopleAble to travel and work extended hours, if requiredProfessional attitudeAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
