    Link Technologies ), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst 4 to join our team.


    JOB DESCRIPTION


    This role will be part of a program dedicated to enhancing various project initiatives aimed at refining, modernizing, and enhancing the user experience for an online business licensing management service, both for customers and internal users.

    The chosen candidate will take charge of guiding test engineers in the creation of test plans, crafting test cases and scripts, suggesting designs for a test infrastructure, and recommending procedures for testing and automated testing.


    QUALIFICATIONS


    Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with five (5) or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Proficient communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to engage effectively with project team members and stakeholders.

    Demonstrated capability to strategize, organize, and execute QA testing aligned with release management cycle.
    Knowledgeable about risk management and proficient in risk analysis processes.
    Comprehensive understanding of quality assurance methodologies and processes within a software development environment.
    Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
    Exhibits a proactive can-do attitude.
    Capable of resolving issues with minimal management intervention; appropriately escalates when necessary.
    Adaptable to changing priorities, demonstrating agility in addressing unexpected challenges or opportunities.
    Experience utilizing Continuous Integration tools, i.e., Jenkins, for establishing and maintaining automation and manual testing infrastructure.
    Strong grasp of automated testing implementation and strategies.
    Proficiency in testing all layers of a web application, encompassing front-end, service layer, and back-end connection testing.

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

    Provide quality assurance engineering skills:
    Drafting test plans, test cases, test sets, and scheduling test executions.
    Providing training to test engineers, Q/A techs, and acceptance testers from business units.
    Proficient in the usage of Ranorex, Rapise, QTP (UFT), Selenium, or similar automation solutions.
    Possessing practical knowledge of source control and hands-on experience with GIT, GitHub, Source Tree, TortoiseGit, or similar tools.
    Configuring and implementing automated test products.
    Collaborating with technical teams to engineer all required test scenarios.
    Having a strong understanding of RDBMS (Oracle and SQL Server) with large, complex datasets.
    Creating Acceptance criteria; recording Acceptance results.
    Managing and maintaining a test framework.

    Provide expertise to manage a quality assurance manual and automation test suites and the QA process.

    To do this successfully, the selected resources will be comfortable performing the following duties:


    Engage with business and technical teams to ensure that the quality assurance process effectively facilitates the deployment of thoroughly tested code to our environment, adhering to the predefined parameters set by the team.

    Ensure the fulfillment of technical and customer requirements for designated projects.
    Possess a keen ability to comprehend technical documents/requirements and translate them into actionable insights for product development.
    Exhibit demonstrated proficiency in implementing, configuring, and overseeing automated testing tools successfully.
    Demonstrate proven industry expertise in utilizing Agile Software Development practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
    Deliver training sessions on Automated Testing Tools/Services to both technical and business teams slated to utilize them.
    Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, VBScript, Python, and JavaScript is highly desirable.
    Take the lead in the development and optimization of automation scripts.
    Oversee the execution of automated tests and ensure seamless integration of automated scripts with the test management tool.
    Gather and present quality metrics derived from test executions.
    Develop, execute, and lead (in collaboration with the QA Manager) Automation planning, Scripting, and maintenance strategy.

    Possess experience in performance measurement and conducting load tests, with a strong ability to interpret results and pinpoint root causes for identified issues.

    Participate actively in technical discussions and contribute to issue identification and resolution with Engineering teams, which include both internal and external resources.

    Provide support to engineering, development, release management, and customer support teams in troubleshooting and addressing issues related to applications and environments.

    Demonstrate experience in drafting technical documents that outline any identified technical deficiencies.
