    *Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Ascension Medical Group Beacon Orthopedics is looking for an experienced PA or NP Orthopedic Surgery.

    Opportunity is for a patient focused, team oriented individual that will commit to providing quality patient care, developing relationships and practice growth.

    Typical work schedule involves two to three days per week seeing patients independently in the orthopedic surgery clinic, two to three days per week supporting orthopedic surgeon as 1st Assist in the OR.

    On a rare occasion, the PA may be asked to help with seeing patients at the Warren office location.

    Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
    Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

    Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program required.
    Master's degree of Nursing required.


    Work Experience:
    ~1-2 years of recent and relevant experience as a PA or NP Orthopedic Surgery (outpatient visits and 1st Assist OR) is required.
    ~ Ability to do independent physical exams, interpret MRI and x-rays, and conduct minor procedures in the office and OR is required.
