    In this position you would be directly assisting end users/employees with daily issues and concerns throughout our dealership's multiple locations.

    Your main task would be supporting and maintaining employee assigned computer systems and peripherals, which includes installing, troubleshooting, repairing/upgrading hardware and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

    You would report directly to the IT Systems Manager.

    Essential Duties, but not limited to:
    Monitor, open, update, escalate and close help desk tickets in a timely fashion.
    Troubleshoot and resolve problems with PC workstations and related peripherals, printers, telephones and other office equipment.

    Repair / replace / refurbish failed components of PC workstation computers such as hard drives, RAM modules, motherboards, network cards, etc.

    Replace consumed components of printers / copiers such as toners, imaging units, transfer modules, fusers, rollers, waste bottles, etc.
    Routinely monitor systems for potential issues and security risks.
    Contacting 3rd party support vendors to address issues when applicable.
    Create and maintain user accounts and assign security profiles for employee access to internal systems.
    Train new users on hardware and software systems.
    Assist employees over the phone, in person and via remote support sessions to resolve hardware and software issues.
    Securely dismantle and dispose of EOL hardware.
    Perform secure destruction of sensitive data based on official protocol / procedures.
    Attend management team meetings.
    Maintain a professional appearance.
    Assist IT Manager to configure and deploy new PC workstations and related peripherals, printers, telephones and other office equipment.
    Assist IT Manager to configure and deploy new or replacement network infrastructure devices when necessary.
    Assist IT Manager to troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with network infrastructure and internal servers.
    Assist IT Manager to perform regular software/firmware updates to infrastructure, phone systems, office equipment, PC workstations and related peripherals.
    Other tasks as assigned.


    Qualifications:
    High school diploma or the equivalent, Bachelor Degree in related field
    Minimum of 1 year of IT related experience
    Must possess good communication skills and time management skills

    Working experience with Windows 10/11 Chrome and Chrome variant browsers, Firefox, Edge, Excel, Word, and other commonly used computer software.

    Must be able to handle documents containing sensitive and / or confidential information.
    Able to work closely with end users, and other IT staff .
    Proficient in both following and creating instruction documentation.
    Must possess the ability to read manuals and troubleshoot minor issues independently.

    Typical work schedule is 8:00am to 5:00pm pst, however must have flexibility to work occasional weekends and some nights for specialty projects.

    All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
    Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test.
    Possess a valid driver's license.
    Bilingual (preferred but not necessary)
    Completed IT Certifications are a plus.
    Working experience with any of the following, a plus:

    TCP/IP, Layer 3 networking configurations
    Wireless networking standards and best practices
    Windows AD Server configurations and security practices
    Reynolds and Reynolds ERAccess and Ignite DMS System
    Toyota Motor specific systems (DealerDaily, TFS, TIS, Techstream)
    Subaru Motor specific systems (Subarunet, Subaru RISE)
    GSuite and/or

    Microsoft Office 365
    PBX / SIP / VoIP phone systems
    IOS / MacOS operating systems, iPads, and iPhones
    Android operating system, Android tabets, android phones
    ChromeOS operating system
    Firewall Configurations / Security Policies
    Video Surveillance and Access Control Systems
    Key Management Systems
    Disk imaging systems for mass deployment / recovery of PC workstations
    Yealink desk phones
    Lexmark, Ricoh, Canon, and Brother office equipment


    Compensation details:
    16-22 Hourly Wage
