Job Overview :
Assumes responsibility for the implementation of safety practices and procedures.

Job Functions:
Assist in the development and implementation of any/all safety grants;
Assist in the development and monitoring of the District Emergency Operations Plan;
Review and approve School Level EOPs. Monitor and assist schools in the implementation of these plans;
Oversee and monitor all district OSHA protocols;
Conduct safety and preparedness trainings throughout the district;
Conduct facility assessment yearly in accordance to state guidelines;
Work with district and school officials to ensure all buildings are properly equipped to implement safety protocols;
Responsible for monitoring all drills in accordance with state and local standards;
Participate in student threat protocols;
Prepare and maintain secure records;
File state reports, and;
Other duties as assigned.
